Romeo Vashishth, chosen as the WMHT Classical Student Musician of the Month.
Congratulations to Bethlehem High School freshman Romeo Vashishth, chosen as the WMHT Classical Student Musician of the Month. Here’s a great video of him playing and discussing Dvorak’s Violin Concerto in A min, Op.53. If you haven’t made a donation this year to the BMA, please do so before the end of the year. Thank you! https://www.wmht.org/blogs/classical-student-musician-month/december-2021-romeo-vashishth/

Bethlehem Music Association’s Music Teacher of the Month is Lillierose Ruby-Eck.
BMA: How long have you been playing the viola? Lillierose Ruby-Eck: I started violin in 5th grade, however I switched to viola in high school when I learned about the college scholarship opportunities for violists. BMA: Music teachers in Bethlehem have a busy schedule. Tell us what classes or events you’re looking forward to this year and next. Lillierose Ruby-Eck: Rehearsals are my favorite piece of the puzzle in elementary strings. I’m so excited we get to have them again.
